I’m about to add a whole new level of crazy…

I think the title of this post really says it all.

Not only am I…

  • working full time…
  • finishing (or trying my darn hardest to finish) the Bible in 90 Days with my group (I’m SO far behind)…
  • trying to find a new job in a new city…
  • working out daily in an effort to lose weight again (since I’m now almost back up to a number I don’t want to admit that I am approaching)…

But now I’m adding to that list… writing. And not just any writing, but writing a novel in 30 days with NaNoWriMo. (PS, I have the most awesome group with the OCGR Wrimos… they are full of support.)

Right now, as of 12:30am at least, my story is full of all kinds of suckage. It’s going to get better. I’m sure if I sleep on it, the most awesome story will emerge from the depths of my soul at tomorrow night’s write in. If not, I’ll have 2 years in a row of suck-tastic novels that no one will ever read.

But really… that’s not going to happen this year. I have ideas, plans and a really awesome imagination.

Oh and also? I decided to do better with updating my blog… as in writing everyday with NaBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month). I did this a couple of years ago, and while the content wasn’t always the best, I really did feel a sense of great accomplishment after posting for 30 days straight.

NaBloPoMo November 2012

Nothing takes you out of a blogging rut like a forced 30 days of posting… right?

In the next 30 days on the blog… you will see a regular weekly series starting about something that absolutely and utterly fascinates me (check it out tomorrow!) as well as updates to all of the rest of the parts of my life… along with (hopefully?) thought provoking posts on what the Bible in 90 Days meant to me, the journey of finding a new job, what I’m learning about myself – especially in the weight loss arena -and well… just about anything else that I can think of because I have 30 days to fill.

So… what are you doing this November? Anything wild and crazy like me?

(As of this writing it says 740 words. A good start with less than an hour of writing.)
